2020 NFL Week 4 SU Picks Expert Analysis

There is still a lot of football to be played before we get to the end of the season, but after the opening 3 weeks of the year, some clear favorites have emerged. It is worth keeping in mind, though, that we see teams make a fast start every year, but it is not all of them who can maintain their great play from start to finish. There are some of the teams in this current group that we expected to be this good, so perhaps they can continue to deliver the goods. They will all be put to the test again in Week 4, where we have a lot of big games on tap. That also includes for teams who need a win so that they can gain back some of the ground lost in the early going. Let’s look at our SU picks for Week 4 so you can wager on their NFL odds.

Week 4 SU Picks for the 2020 Season | NFL Betting

Denver Broncos over New York Jets

Something has to give this Thursday night, as one of these teams is going to break out and win their first game of the season. While both are 0-3, the Broncos are there because they have been hit hard by the injury bug, while the Jets just look bad from top to bottom. The Broncos have not been very food on the road of late, winning just 1 of their last 6, but they have had success when playing the Jets, going 5-2 SU against them in their last 7 meetings. I don’t expect a ton of offense here, but I think the Broncos do enough to get the win.

Houston Texans over Minnesota Vikings

There are several 0-3 teams in the league after the opening few weeks, but do any of them actually have a shot at getting back into it and maybe landing a playoff spot? If I was to choose one, it would be the Houston Texans. They are 0-3, but they have had to face the Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, and Pittsburgh Steelers to start the season. How many teams would play that same schedule and come away with a better outcome than the Texans did? Not very many. This weekend, I think they get one in the win column against a Vikings team that has not looked good, especially on the offensive side of the football. Houston has the better weapons, in my opinion.

Cincinnati Bengals over Jacksonville Jaguars

The Bengals are still a long way from challenging for the AFC North again, but it does look as though they have their QB of the future squared away. Joe Burrow has looked very good through his opening 3 games in the NFL and looks set to be a longtime starter. Still, the Bengals have a lot of holes that need to be filled, although perhaps not as many as the Jaguars, who were hammered by the Dolphins last Thursday night. The Bengals came away with a tie in Week 3, but I think they go one better this weekend with a win over Jacksonville.
