Why bet on Golden State versus Milwaukee?

The Warriors hadn’t been playing well, but on March 8, the Bucks blasted the Los Angeles Clippers 112-97. Curry and his teammates followed up the victory with a 113-102 win over Nikola Jokic and the Denver Nuggets. Not only that, but Klay Thompson finally appears to have played his way back to his best form.

Milwaukee Bucks at Golden State Warriors Betting Analysis

Thompson hadn’t played hoops since 2019, which is one of the reasons so many believed his career was over. But Klay is back.

Steph Curry’s backcourt mate scored 20 against the Clippers and 18 versus the Nuggets. His three-point percentage is now up to 35.6%.

Even though Thompson has gotten better with each start, he’s a long way from shooting over 40% from behind the arc like he did during the Warriors’ championship runs, which brings us to this game versus the Bucks.

Milwaukee blasted Golden State 118-99 in the last head-to-head. Klay will help make up some of the difference, but unless he returns to the 42% to 44% three-pointing shooting Thompson, the Bucks should win and cover again.

Antetokounmpo and his teammates are preparing for another NBA Finals run. It took Milwaukee some time to gel without Brook Lopez, who hasn’t played since Dec. 2, but now that Bobby Portis is comfortable starting, the Bucks have rolled.

Everyone on Milwaukee knows their role. Golden State is a good team, but the Warriors rely on Curry, and to a lesser extent Thompson, far too much. The Bucks are the more complete team. Milwaukee SU and ATS are both excellent plays.
