If you close your eyes you can see the green grass, feel the warm breezy air, and hear the soft piano playing in the background. All the sights, sounds, and feelings of The Masters and how they bring happy thoughts to mind. Soon we will see the world’s best players tee it up at Augusta National to play for the green jacket.
With that being said, let’s take a look at the top three favorites, our possible upsets, and surprises for The Masters week so you can start planning your bets against The Masters Odds.
The Masters Odds and Favorites | PGA Tour Betting
Jon Rahm +850
No surprise here as the world’s #1 player receives the best odds to win The Masters. Last year was a very successful year for Jon Rahm. He won one tournament, the U.S. Open to go along with 12 Top-10 finishes. Rahm was in contention at the Tour Championship but fell one shot short of Patrick Cantlay.
Rahm could have won The Memorial Tournament presented by Nationwide if he had not tested positive after the third round of the tournament. Rahm had a large lead and was told that he had tested positive coming off the 18th green on Saturday at Muirfield Village Golf Club.
So far this season, Rahm already has three Top-10 finishes. He finished T-5 last year at The Masters. Is this the year that Rahm breaks through to win the green jacket?
Jordan Spieth +1100
No stranger to the big moment and especially so at Augusta National, Jordan Spieth currently has the second-best odds to win The Masters. For someone who had one of the greatest starts in PGA Tour history, and then falling off the face of the earth, Spieth has felt both ends of the spectrum of emotion.
Currently ranked at #14 in the world, Spieth is starting to climb back up the rankings, to the spot he once held. Spieth returned to the winner’s circle in 2021 by winning the Texas Valero Open. to go along with the win, Spieth had eight Top-10 finishes.
This season Spieth has one Top-10 finish where he finished second at Pebble Beach for the AT&T Pro-Am.
Right now, you can see that Spieth is so close to breaking through again and it is just a matter of time. Is Augusta National the place for Spieth to break through yet again?
Justin Thomas +1200
The reigning Players Champion and currently #8 in the world, Justin Thomas rounds out our Top-3 of best odds to win The Masters. Thomas is coming off one of his slower seasons on tour with only one win and six Top-10 finishes.
Thomas is off to a good start this season with two Top-10 finishes in just three starts. Besides the PGA Championship, Thomas is waiting for his next big major win.
At +1200 odds, Thomas has a real chance of winning The Masters. His best finish in his career at Augusta is a fourth-place finish in 2020.
Upsets
Possible upsets to look for this season could be Louis Oosthuizen at +4200. Justin Rose could return to the top, especially with a good week of the short game and putting at +4200 odds as well. A major upset and someone that we really like is Dylan Frittelli at +21000 odds.
Surprises
It is surprising to see the reigning Masters Champions Hideki Matsuyama so far down the betting board. Matsuyama currently has +2600 odds to win The Masters again which gives him the twelfth best odds.
Tiger Woods is listed on the betting board currently with odds at +4200. Woods announced today that a return to the PGA would be happening, but we do not know when it will happen.
