Political News: Updated 2020 U.S. Presidential Election Props

2020 U.S. Presidential Election

  • When: November 3, 2020
  • Where: United States

Will Joe Biden Drop Out Before Nov. 1, 2020?

  • Yes +700
  • No -2500

No is the obvious play, but let’s take a moment to consider the dog wager in this prop. Joe Biden, no matter if you want to vote for him or not, hasn’t looked all that healthy. He’s also made some gaffes that don’t make sense, which means, although a longshot, +700 on Sleepy Joe to call it quits before the end of October offers some value.

U.S. Presidential Election Prop Pick: Yes

Will Donald Trump Drop Out Before Nov. 1, 2020?

  • Yes +1200
  • No -5000

If coronavirus couldn’t kick out the Orange One, it’s difficult to see anything stopping Trump from blaring his loud speaker past Nov. 1. Trump could drop out if he gets a better deal from, maybe, NBC if they want to restart Celebrity Apprentice. But, other than some moonshot better deal, The Donald figures to hang around until after the election.

Party to Win Pop Vote in 2020 Election

  • Democrats -700
  • Republicans +400

The Dems have this in the bag. Why? Most general election votes come from New York City and Los Angeles. San Francisco, the biggest Democrat stronghold, has a huge population as well. So, those three cities will ensure Trump doesn’t win the popular vote.

What Position Will N. Pelosi Hold on Jan. 21, 2021?

  • Speaker of the House -50000
  • U.S. President +4000

Here’s another longshot that deserves a look. Sure, Nancy should end up Speaker of the House. But there is a way, we won’t get into how, where Pelosi could end up as the U.S. President. So, why not take a flyer on Nancy be Commander-in-Chief on January 21?

Will COVID-19 Vaccine Approved Before Nov. 3, 2020?

  • Yes +400
  • No -700

A vaccine could be out there, but the FDA must approve it before anyone can take it. The FDA has said they can’t approve a vaccine for at least two months after it becomes available. Why? The Food and Drug Administration must gather data before giving approval. That takes two months, they claim.

Day (EST) the loser concedes the election

  • Nov. 3 +350
  • Nov. 4 +175
  • Nov. 5 +500
  • Nov. 6 +600
  • Nov. 7 +700
  • Nov. 8 +800
  • Nov. 9 +900
  • Nov. 10 +1200
  • Nov. 11 +1200
  • Nov. 12 +1200
  • Nov. 13 or later -125

The odds on Nov. 13 or later has now become the less than even money choice. It’s difficult to back Nov. 13 or later, though. Sure, it could take a few days to count up all the votes. But we’ve got about 2 ½ weeks before the election. That’s plenty of time for states to come up with ways to ensure votes are counted on Nov. 4.
