ONE Championship: Revolution Betting Analysis & Predictions

For MMA fans, events are usually judged by the fights on the main card. For a lot of fans, those that have title fights as the headliner take preference over the rest. If you fall into that group, then the One Championship: Revolution event, which is set for 8:30 AM EST on Friday morning, needs to be considered a must watch. There are 5 fights on the main card (as well as a Muay Thai tile fight), with 2 of those being title fights. That’s a fantastic way to start your fight weekend. Let’s take a little bit of a closer look at each of those fights, with predictions for each so you can bet against their ONE Championship odds.

MMA Betting Analysis for ONE Championship: Revolution

Victoria Lee Vs Victoria Souza

The evening begins with the women stepping into the octagon for a Strawweight bout, with both fighters sporting unbeaten records. Lee has won both of her pro fights to date, and all without needing to go beyond Round 2. Souza is a perfect 5-0 and has seen 4 of those 5 victories come in the opening round. This is a fantastic way to open up the main card, and while this should be a great fight, I am leaning towards Lee for the submission win.

Amir Aliakbari Vs Anatoly Malakhin

It’s a battle of the Heavyweights next and one that is not likely to go the distance given the stopping power of both men. Aliakbari is looking to rebound after a loss in his last fight, a defeat that took him to 10-2 overall. That is going to be easier said than done, though, as Malakhin has been outstanding, winning all 9 of his pro fights thus far. I think he keeps that unbeaten streak alive with the KO win in this one.

Martin Nguyen Vs Jae Woong Kim

It’s a pair of very good Lightweight fighters stepping into the octagon for the final fight before we get to the title bouts. Nguyen has a very solid 13-4 record, but he has stumbled a bit of late, losing his last fight and going 2-2 in his last 4. Kim is 11-4, and while he lost recently, he recovered with a win to move to 4-1 in his last 5 outings. Another good matchup here, but I am taking Nguyen for the KO win.

Joshua Pacio Vs Yosuke Saruta

The co-main event of the evening delivers the first of two title fights on the main card, with this one for the Flyweight Championship. Pacio comes in as the champion, sporting a 19-3 record and a win streak that has seen him post victories in his last 3 fights. Saruta is 21-9-3 and is on a good run of form ahead of this title bout, winning 4 of his last 5. I think we see this one go the distance, but I am on Pacio to defend his title.

Christian Lee Vs Rae Yoon Ok

Both of these men come into this Welterweight Championship bout sporting the exact same records, but one of them holds the belt. That would be Lee, who is the defending champion and a man on a 6-fight win streak. Ok comes into this one with the same 15-3 record as the champ. He has won 6 of his last 7 fights and will certainly be no pushover. I think he comes up short, though, as I like Lee for the KO win.
