Golf Betting Preview for PGA Tour Puerto Rico Open
Matthias Schwab +1600
Schwab is coming off a 7th place finish at the Honda Classic. He has made the cut in 6 of 9 events this season, including a 22nd play finish at the RSM Classic. Schwab seems to be fit for this course, and should be in good shape as the tournament tees off.
Mark Hubbard +2000
Another guy that fared well at the Honda Classic is Hubbard. In fact, his last two starts have been Top 15 finishes. Hubbard is just 32 years old and has 3 wins on the PGA Tour to this point in his career. During the 2022 season, he has made the cut 6 times in 8 starts.
John Huh +2000
The 31 years old from New York played his college golf at California State University. He has been ranked as high as 62nd in the world and has 2 professional wins on the season. He was not listed in the Honda Classic a week ago, and many are wondering about some kind of injury. Huh though is another guy that fits the narrative of a course winner here. It will be fun to see Huh progress throughout the weekend.
Joseph Bramlett +2500
The 33 year old from Saratoga, California has just 1 PGA win in his career. He has been on the tour since the 2010 season. Bramlett is coming off a 53rd place finish in Phoenix earlier in February, after really struggling at Pebble Beach. Bramlett was CUT during the 2010 US Open and has not played in a major since then, so he is looking to change that in 2022.
Rafa Cabrera Bello +2500
One of the older guys in this event. Cabrera Bello will turn 38 years old this May. The 6’2 golfer from Spain has played in just 3 events this season, including a 2nd place finish back in January at Abu Dhabi. A season ago, Cabrera Bello played in both the US Open and the Open Championship, after five straight years of playing in all four majors. This is a guy that when he gets hot, the competition better look out!
Others in Consideration:
Some of the other golfers in consideration to win this event:
We expect this to be a great, competitive event. While it’s the “lower level” of the two PGA events this week, there will be plenty of eyes. Great weather, a beautiful course and some fantastic golfers makes for a great weekend. Enjoy the action on the course!
