What a difference a week makes MyBookie college basketball betting faithful! With the 2020-21 college basketball season set to move further into Week 14 and the start of the 2021 NCAA National Championship Tournament getting closer by the day, it’s time to take a look at the latest odds to win it all this season.

Some teams have seen their odds improve over the course of the last week while others have seen their odds take a hit, both big and small. Let’s find out who’s looking good, bad and ugly against their College Basketball National Championship odds.

Updated Week 14 College Basketball National Championship Odds

Unbeaten Bad Asses!

Unbeaten bad asses, No. 1 Gonzaga (22-0) and No. 2 Baylor (17-0) both saw their odds improve since last week. The Bulldogs won their only two games of the week while Baylor is set to return to action on Tuesday night for the first time since beating sixth-ranked Texas 83-69 on Feb. 2.

They’re Up

  • Iowa (17-6)

No. 9 Iowa moved up from a +1500 pick to +1400 after taking out No. 21 Wisconsin and unranked Penn State over its last two games on Thursday and Saturday respectively.

  • Illinois (16-5)

The fifth-ranked Fighting Illini’ got past Northwestern and Minnesota in its last two games to see their odds go from +1800 to +1400.

They’re Down

  • Villanova (14-3)

The Cats have gone from a +1100 pick to +1400 over the last week. Villanova suffered a humbling 86-70 road loss against Creighton on Feb. 13, but bounced back to beat UConn 68-60 on Saturday. The Cats will contend to win it all despite their misstep last week.

  • Michigan (16-1)

The Wolverines have won three straight and got past No. 4 Ohio State 92-87 in a thrilling affair on Sunday. Somehow, Michigan saw their odds took a hit over the last week, going from +700 to +875.

  • Houston (18-3)

The Cougars were upset by Wichita State 68-63 on Thursday night but bounced back to wallop Cincinnati 90-52 on Sunday. Still, the Cougars saw their odds move from +2000 to +2200.

  • Wisconsin (16-8)

The Badgers have gone from a +2000 to a +4000 pick after dropping two straight games against Michigan and Iowa before bouncing back to beat Northwestern 68-51 on Sunday night.

  • Texas Tech

Texas Tech (14-6) has lost three straight including consecutive losses against lowly Kansas and unranked Oklahoma State in its last two games. The Red Raiders were a +2500 pick to win the national championship a week ago, but are no a +4000 pick.

Things Are Ugly

  • Texas (13-6)

Not only did the Longhorns lose to West Virginia 84-82 on Saturday, but Texas gave up a 19-point lead in the defeat. To make matters worse, the team’s leading scorers, Andrew Jones and Courtney Ramey got into a strange altercation where the pair had to be separated. Texas is 2-4 over its last six games and looks like a team in big trouble.

As it stands right now, Gonzaga and Baylor are heads and shoulders above everyone else, although I think Baylor is actually the better team. I expect Michigan, Villanova, Houston and Ohio State to be the next best four title contenders – in that order.

Illinois looks dangerous, thanks mostly because of star guard Ayo Dosunmu. Iowa has a monster player in Luka Garza, but not much else after their All-American.
