Why bet on Eastern Michigan versus Liberty?

The MAC is one of the deepest conferences in college football. Eastern Michigan more than held their own in the Midwestern Athletic Conference, going 7-5 straight up and beating Western Michigan, Toledo, and Miami-Ohio. The Eagles also have a decent rushing attack, which means there’s a chance they keep the ball from Willis and the Flames’ offense.

Eastern Michigan’s defense is going to have a tough time containing the talented quarterback. Unless they manage to keep Willis under wraps, Malik will ensure Liberty wins and covers.

LendingTree Bowl Final Betting Prediction

Eastern Michigan plays hard, and some trends are in their favor, but the Eagles are going to have a heck of a time containing Willis and the Flames’ offense.

Eastern Michigan’s defense simply isn’t good enough. Willis is one of those rare dual-threat quarterbacks who is a true dual-threat. He runs and passes the ball equally well.

The Eagles’ allow about 197 rushing yards on average. Willis can go for 200 rushing yards in this. If Eastern Michigan cheats up to stop the QB run, the RPO quarterback will throw it at will.

Any way we look at this game, Liberty has the edge. The Flames are the better team overall, heads to the gridiron with the much better quarterback, and should have no trouble winning the LendingTree Bowl and covering the spread.
