New Mexico State versus Alabama Final Betting Prediction

Nick Saban doesn’t care about covering spreads. The Alabama football coach knows how to prepare his team for the SEC Championship and College Football Playoff.

While Bama could easily cover this, they would have to score on every possession to do so. More importantly, Saban might have to play Bryce Young and the rest of his offensive starters until after the third quarter to cover the 51 ½.

It’s doubtful the Crimson Tide coach does that. This is a meaningless game that Alabama could win by 30 with their second string. Once Alabama gets up 35-0, Saban will pull his starters on both sides of the football.

Then, the Tide will roll to an easy 42 to 49-point win. That will be enough for Alabama to remain second on the CFP Rankings. It won’t be enough for Bama backers to win against the spread.
