Wild Card Weekend SU Picks for the 2021-22 Season | NFL Betting

Cincinnati Bengals over Las Vegas Raiders

We get the ball rolling with one of the Saturday games, which sees the Las Vegas Raiders hit the road to face the Cincinnati Bengals. After a season that included some serious turmoil, the Raiders ended things on a high note, bumping the Chargers out of playoff contention with a dramatic win in OT. The question now is whether they can carry that momentum over into the postseason. It’s a bit of a surprise to see the Bengals in the playoffs as a division winner, but this is a team very much on the rise. With many of their starters, including QB Joe Burrow, sitting out Week 18, they can be excused for losing their final regular season game. It’s always good to get the home field advantage in the playoffs, and with the Bengals winning 4 of their last 5 meetings with the Raiders, things very much swing in their favor.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers over Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles ended the season with a winning 9-8 record, which is a bit of a surprise when you consider how things looked for them at the midway point of the season. They won 6 of their last 8 games to nab the final playoff spot in the NFC, but that also meant having to go on the road to face the defending Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Bucs will be disappointed at not getting the #1 seed, but at 13-4, you have to say that it was another very solid season for the champs. Philly has been an impressive 4-1 SU in their last 5 games on the road, but this still feels like a monumental task, especially given that the Buccaneers have won 10 of their last 11 home games.

Kansas City Chiefs over Pittsburgh Steelers

With a QB who looked to be beyond his sell by date and a rookie heavy offensive line, it looked as though it was going to be a long season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. With the help of a great defense and Big Ben turning back the clock a little, the Steelers did just enough to win their final game of the season and get in as the #7 seed. It’s a great story, but one that might well prove to be short-lived. The Kansas City Chiefs had some bumps in the road on their way to the postseason, but they came good when it mattered and are coming into the postseason looking ready for another deep run. They hammered the Steelers at home earlier this season and this might be more of the same.
