Top EPL Games to Bet and Watch this Week From Aug. 21st to 23rd

Burnley +1 ½ (+126) vs Liverpool -1 ½ (-169)

  • When: Saturday, Aug. 21

In their first Premier League match of the season, the Reds showed why they’re one of the favorites to take the title. Liverpool dominated Norwich City 3-0. Firmino, Salah, and Jota all scored. Burnley fell 1-2 to Brighton in their first EPL match. Pool covers this handicap.

Soccer Pick: Liverpool

Norwich City +2 ½ (-116) vs Manchester City -2 ½ (-113)

  • When: Saturday, Aug. 21

What’s up with the 0-1 loss to Tottenham? That’s what the Sky Blues provided on Aug. 14. Losing to Tottenham isn’t yet a disgrace, but it’s not great. Now, we’re expected to believe Kevin De Bruyne, Jack Grealish, and the rest of Man City’s loaded squad beats Norwich by 3 goals? That won’t happen.

Soccer Pick: Norwich City

Brentford +175 vs Crystal Palace +165

  • When: Saturday, Aug. 21

Palace started their quest for the Premier League Championship with an 0-3 loss to 2020 Champions League titleholders Chelsea. The Blues dominated Palace so thoroughly that there’s no way we can back the home team to win this. Brentford gets the nod.

Soccer Pick:  Brentford

Newcastle +300 vs Aston Villa -125

  • When: Saturday, Aug. 21

On Aug. 14, in their first Premier match of the season, Aston Villa fell to Watford. Supposedly, Villa is the better team, which means the loss had to sting. Aston should bounce back with a terrific performance on Saturday. Newcastle falls.

Soccer Pick: Aston Villa

Everton +190 vs Leeds +130

  • When: Saturday, Aug. 21

After the 1-5 loss to Man United, Leeds has dropped three straight. Everton isn’t a great team, but they beat Southampton 3-1 last Saturday. The odds on the road squad make them an overlay.

Soccer Pick: Everton

Watford +400 vs Brighton & Hove -140

  • When: Saturday, Aug. 21

Both teams head into this off wins. Watford may have gotten lucky against an Aston Villa squad that appeared to have stepped onto the pitch overconfident. Brighton beat Burnley in a workmanlike performance. Watford won’t pull off two straight upset victories, which makes BH the play.

Soccer Pick: Brighton & Hove

Manchester United -169 vs Southampton +390

  • When: Sunday, Aug. 22

Mason Greenwood got a goal, Fred knocked in one, and Bruno Fernandes scored three in Man United’s 5-1 destruction of Leeds. Southampton fell to Everton. United should easily win this. So if you see attractive handicap odds on the Red Devils, consider.

Soccer Pick: Manchester United

Tottenham +129 vs Wolverhampton +220

  • When: Sunday, Aug. 22

Who knows what’s going on with Tottenham. The Hotspur upset Man City 1-0 on Aug. 15, but then four days later they fall to Pacos de Ferreira in a Europa League qualifier. Wolverhampton fell to Leicester via a 1-0 score on Aug. 14. The odds on the Wanderers make them an overlay.

Soccer Pick: Wolverhampton

Chelsea -131 vs Arsenal +340

  • When: Sunday, Aug. 22

Arsenal has lost 3 straight and 4-of-5. Brentford dominated the Gunners 2-0 in Arsenal’s first Premier match of the season. The Blues look ready to challenge Man City for EPL dominance. So even though Christian Pulisic must quarantine due to a COVID positive, Chelsea wins this.

Soccer Pick: Chelsea

Leicester City +165 vs West Ham United +150

  • When: Monday, Aug. 23

The 4-2 beating West Ham put onto Newcastle last Sunday proves WH can hang with Leicester. Not only that, but West Ham won the last head-to-head and takes on Leicester City at home. The odds difference isn’t enough to go with LC. West Ham wins.

Soccer Pick: West Ham United
