There are a ton of big games on tap that are sure to entice hockey bettors. We are going to take a quick look at the Friday-Sunday calendar to pick out the best of the NHL Betting weekend action.

NHL Betting | Top Must Bet Games This Weekend: Friday to Sunday

Winnipeg Jets at Colorado Avalanche – Friday, Feb. 25

The current state of the Western Conference shows that there are only really a couple of teams who can feel good about their chances of making the playoffs. For the rest, including the Winnipeg Jets, it’s going to be a battle for postseason spots. The Jets are currently on a 3-game losing streak and look to be in danger of seeing that run continue when they visit the Colorado Avalanche on Friday night. The Avalanche are currently running away with the West and have gone 7-2-1 in their last 10 games. The Jets need this one, so expect a good game.

Edmonton Oilers at Florida Panthers – Saturday, Feb. 26

The action starts early on Saturday afternoon, and it begins with what looks to be an excellent matchup. The Oilers have been up and down of late, going 6-4 in their last 10, but they are currently on a 2-game losing skid. The Panthers lost last time out, ending a solid run of form that saw them head back to the top of the Atlantic Division with a 3-point lead over the Lightning. Florida is an outstanding 23-4-0 on home ice this season, but they will absolutely not be taking the high-scoring Oilers for granted on Saturday afternoon.

Minnesota Wild at Calgary Flames – Saturday, Feb. 26

This one has the potential to be the game of the weekend, with both of these teams sitting in good positions in the West, The Minnesota Wild have the unenviable task of playing in the same division as the high-flying Colorado Avalanche, but they are currently 3rd in the division and just a point back of the Blues in 2nd, with a couple of games in hand. The Flames, meanwhile, are the hottest team in the league and have a 10-game winning streak going heading into a Thursday tilt with Vancouver. Can the Flames stay hot on home ice?

Pittsburgh Penguins at Columbus Blue Jackets – Sunday, Feb. 27

The Metropolitan Division race has been tight from day one of the season, but we are now beginning to see a little bit of separation at the top. The Pittsburgh Penguins are one of the teams opening up a lead, sitting in 2nd, albeit after losing 2 in a row. The Columbus Blue Jackets are down in 5th and look to be a longshot to make the playoffs, but they are rolling right now, winning 3 in a row and 8 of their last 10 games. This is a very good divisional battle that should be fun to watch.
