Benfica vs BK Hacken

  • When: Wednesday, Nov. 17

Benfica is the name squad in this matchup. But BK Hacken should be the chalk.

On Nov. 10, the home team, that’s BK Hacken, beat Benfica 1-0. The win was Hacken’s first in their last 3. Bayern dominated BK 4-0. Lyon beat the home team 3-0.

Benfica hasn’t won a match in their last 5. Losses to Chelsea twice, a loss to Lyon, and the loss to Hacken makes Benfica tough to back in this. However, the loss to BK in the last wasn’t all that bad.

Also, Benfica forced a 0-0 draw with Bayern on Oct. 5. The road team can get it done.

Soccer Pick: Benfica

Barcelona vs TSG Hoffenheim

  • When: Wednesday, Nov. 17

Since a 2-3 loss to Lyon at the Women’s Champions Cup back in August, Barcelona has rolled to 4 straight victories. In their last 3, Barca has beaten Arsenal 4-1, HB Koge 2-0, and Hoffenheim 4-0.

The 4-0 win against Hoffenheim happened on Nov. 10. TSG is on a 2-match losing streak. Before dropping the game against Barcelona, Hoffenheim failed 0-4 versus Arsenal.

Barcelona must play this on the road. No problem. If you can find handicap odds at a decent payout, back Barca to cover the handicap no matter the odds.

Soccer Pick: Barcelona

Bayern Munich vs Lyon

  • When: Wednesday, Nov. 17

Bayern versus Lyon should be one of this week’s most competitive UEFA Women’s Champions League matches. Bayern lost to Lyon in the last head-to-head. But it was just by a single goal.

Overall, Bayern shows 2 wins, 2 losses, and a draw in their last 5. Lyon has 4 wins and a loss in their last 5. Lyon has won 3 straight. In addition to beating Bayern, the home team also beat BK Hacken 3-0 on Oct. 5 and Benfica 5-0 on Oct. 14.

Bayern could turn the tables. But Lyon is playing too well to go agianst. Give the home team the nod.

Soccer Pick: Lyon

Juventus vs Vfl Wolfsburg

  • When: Thursday, Nov. 18

On Nov. 9, Juventus and Wolfsburg played to a 2-2 draw. Another could happen because the lone team they both have beaten in their last 5 is Servette.

Juvy dominated Servette 3-0 on Oct. 6. On Oct. 13, Wolfsburg handed Servette a 5-0 beating. Neither team has the upper hand in this match. A second draw looks more than probable.

Soccer Pick: Draw

Servette vs Chelsea

  • When: Thursday, Nov. 18

Servette has virtually no shot of keeping this close. The road team in this match has lost 5 straight, including an 0-7 drubbing at the hands of the Blues on Nov. 9.

Chelsea is playing like the best women’s league team in the world. The Blues have won 5 straight, including beating Man City 4-0 in their last. Unless Chelsea implodes, Servette won’t keep this close. So back the Blues to cover the handicap.

Soccer Pick: Chelsea

Paris Saint-Germain vs Real Madrid

  • When: Thursday, Nov. 18

PSG blasted Real 4-0 in the last head-to-head. Real Madrid had been playing well before the match when beating Breidablik 5-0 and WFC Kharkiv 1-0.

Switching venues from Paris to Madrid could help Real. But how much will it help? PSG is on a 3-match winning streak. During the streak, Pairs Saint-Germain hasn’t allowed a goal while dropping a combined 11 onto their opponents. PSG wins by at least 2.

Soccer Pick: Paris Saint-Germain
